An allied health professional is a trained health professional who can help you manage your physical and mental health.
Allied health professionals prevent, diagnose and treat a range of conditions and illnesses.
They include:
- psychologists
- physiotherapists
- pharmacists
- occupational therapists.
Doctors, dentists or nurses are not allied health professionals.
